Fernando Laposse - Mexico City - 2024/2025

This body of work was developed during my time at the studio of Fernando Laposse in Mexico City. Working within a material-led practice rooted in craft, agriculture, and community collaboration, I contributed to the research, prototyping, and development of a range of projects; exploring natural fibres and unconventional materials.

Operating within an established design language sharpened my sensitivity to process, authorship, and context. My role involved hands-on fabrication, material experimentation, and iterative development. Supporting the translation of raw materials into finished pieces. This period of studio practice continues to inform my approach to making: one that values tactility, narrative, and the quiet intelligence embedded in materials.
